Copying a document with the Clipboard

When you copy a document to another folder with the Copy to Folder command, you can see the document in both the source and target folders, but it is actually the same document.

To copy a document to another vault folder:

1. Select the source document to be copied and press CTRL+C.
2. Select the target folder and press CTRL+V.

Note    The document’s Item ID value is the same in the source folder and in the target folder.
